First things first - I bought myself a Wacom Intuos5 I am so excited to have it in my hot little hands! I can't even describe how excited I was to get it yesterday I nearly flew out of work to get to the post office in time (and ran up the street to make double sure I would get there.. with 15 mins to closing..). That said, it is a teeny tiny bit like learning how to walk again, or perhaps gaining a limb and not knowing exactly how to use it. Surely is going to take some getting used to! I managed to draw a banana yesterday, until Corel paint closed and I'd forgotten to save. Lesson learned.
I'm going to trawl the interwebs for tutorials, they might be a good place to start.

Secondly, I BOUGHT A COUCH!! It's a 3 seater leather deal that looks and feels amazing and is SO epically more comfortable than the lumpy old thing that was left to me by my old housemate. Alas, there is a 9-11 week waiting period and I still haven't uploaded my bank statements to be approved for finance sooo.. it might be more like 10-12 weeks. Sigh. I hate having such a long wait for things.

Thirdly, le boyfriend and I have found someone who is helping us design our own furniture. It's amazing. And he'll build it all. One day I want to get him to make me an art desk with fancy engravings and what not. But in the meantime, we're just getting a coffee table, tv unit, side table and modular thingy ma jig that will hold an olive python enclosure on top. Oh yeah, we want 2 olive pythons ^^

AND we got a printer, 2 computer mice, and a mouse pad...

And lastly, we have our eye on a Tv.. finally. It's only taken us 4 months without one to finally go and find one we like.

And that folks, was my easter weekend. I don't feel very relaxed, and I really need to be paid but there's a week to go so luckily the bills aren't coming just now :/


Also, I'm going through friend withdrawls - I haven't seen my good friends in seriously forever and I need them. I really miss having a good old chat about everything and anything. Also I can't seem to relax very well at the moment and it's so freaking annoying
